Title: Endline Survey Ultra Poor Graduation Project for Women Headed Households (KOICA).

Project Description:
KOICA Ultra Poor Graduation project for women-headed households named “KOICA UPG Project is among World Vision Projects operating under Tunga Cluster in Western Province. It is located in Gihango and Mushubati Administrative Sectors of Rutsiro District, Western Province of Rwanda. The project was designed to contribute to the eradication of extreme poverty of female-headed households in Rutsiro District. The Purpose of this project is two folds: 1) Households have improved food security and increased social inclusion for the basis of livelihood capacity building, 2) Households have improved livelihood capacity.
The purpose of this evaluation is to provide WVR, the project Donor, the partners and participants with progressive and updated information regarding achievements made in livelihood improvements made among project target groups whether knowledge, attitude and information-based practices. The Survey findings will also show the project’s relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, and its sustainability even as it closes out by the end of December 2023. Evaluation findings/results will reflect on successes and challenges of implemented interventions and drive decision makers on proper transition of KOICA UPG Project interventions.

Title: Gender Analysis (GA) for the programme “Gender Matters for Green TVET” in Rwanda.

Project Description:
With funding from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), the implementing body of the
Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), Jugend Eine Welt implements the 4-year
programme “Gender Matters for Green TVET” (2022-2026).
The overall objective of the GA is to identify requirements and barriers for adolescent
girls/young women and adolescent boys/young men to access, participate, and succeed in
technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and subsequent employment/self-
employment in two locations in Rwanda, where the project supports TVET centres. Based on
the results of this analysis, concrete recommendations shall be provided to enhance the
relevance and adequacy of measures to promote equitable access and participate within (a) the
“Gender Matters” project design and (b) the Gender Operational Plans of the two supported
TVET institutions (Muhazi and Gatenga).

Title: Gender Analysis in Food Safety in 12 countries: Undertaking Data Collection and Report Writing

Project Description:
TANAGER through the IGNITE Project works in partnership with African Union - Partnership for Aflatoxin Control in Africa (AU-PACA) program intends to conduct "Gender Analysis in Food Safety in 12 Countries: Undertaking Data Collection and Report Writing". The aim of the analysis is to increase understanding of the link/intersection between gender and food safety as it relates to various contexts. The analysis will investigate gender roles and relations and their implications for food safety in 12 African countries, including Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, Mali, Rwanda, Zambia, Angola, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Cameroon, Benin, and Togo. This study will also identify existing opportunities, setbacks, all stakeholders involved in food safety, regulatory policy environments, and their impact on different actors, as well as their relationship to food safety, risks, and opportunities among women.
Tanager has contracted ECOS LTD to conduct a gender analysis in food safety in 12 countries. Overall, the findings of the analysis will inform the development of a strategy for a women-led approach to food safety by AU-PACA.
